Warren Sonoda is one of the nation's busiest, in-demand and versatile feature filmmakers having just completed his tenth feature film in nine years. He is also considered one of Canada's most accomplished and prolific music video directors with over 160 music videos directed and more than 200 edited.

Warren Sonoda is is known for Ham & Cheese, 5ive Girls (2006), Heartstopper, Warriors of Terra, Merlin & the Book of Beasts (2009), Swearnet: The Movie (2014), The Masked Saint, Backstage (2016-17), A Christmas Fury, This Hour Has 22 Minutes (2016-18), and Odd Squad (2015-2018). He is wrapping up post-production of Things I Do for Money (2019).

Sonoda developed the features Sweet Tea, Jake Joins and Cult and Camp Killers - all set up with Timshel Pictures and Hideaway Pictures.

Warren Sonoda received Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee Medal for his outstanding contributions to the Canadian Film Industry. That made his mom and dad incredibly proud.

He also failed Ryerson Film School. Twice.
