Vincent Newcombe was the owner and operator of the Manchester Terrier in Toronto where he ran ratting matches with John Delaney, introduced in Season 1 of Murdoch Mysteries and portrayed by Shane Daly.

After Delaney was murdered, Detective William Murdoch questioned Newcombe. Newcombe admitted that he and Delaney would sometimes fix the ratting matches by drugging certain dogs. He told Murdoch that Delaney was greedy and wanted to fix more of the matches.
