"Vengeance Makes the Man” is the thirteenth episode of the sixteenth season of Murdoch Mysteries and the two hundred fifty-second episode of the series (not including the three stand-alone holiday specials). It first airs on January 9, 2023.
Summary
Detective Murdoch must prove Thomas Brackenreid's innocence when the Inspector is framed for murder by a vengeful foe.
A man is shot in the head at a boarding house, and when the unusual military revolver used is traced back to Brackenreid, the inspector is arrested for murder. Brackenreid maintains his innocence, but the evidence begins to pile up against him.
