"Toronto the Bad" is the seventh episode of the thirteenth season of the Murdoch Mysteries and the one hundred ninety-third of the series. It first aired on November 11, 2019.

Summary

While moonlighting as a cab driver, Higgins finds a dead passenger in the backseat.

  • Sleeplessly working his side job, cab driver Higgins tries to make ends meet for Ruth to live in the manner she is accustomed.
  • William and Julia’s neighbour, Goldie Huckabee visits Julia in their home... and a statue goes missing afterward which is  blamed (erroneously) on Murdoch's "Roomba" invention, requiring yet another tweak.
  • Murdoch invents the rearview mirror for Henry's cab that helps to bring a prime suspect to the Station House.

Henry's taxi appears to be about a 1917 Ford Model T Touring car based on the type of headlights, shape of front fenders, and shape of radiator. It is not period-specific to the 1907 setting.
