Stubbs is the bartender at the Sword and Sheath Tavern introduced in Season 14 of Murdoch Mysteries, portrayed by Michael Brown.
Appearances and Mentions[]
Rough and Tumble[]
- Stubbs is a witness to the fatal beating of Gerard Lacroix. He is questioned by Murdoch, Brackenreid and Watts at the Sword and Sheath Tavern.
- Stubbs informs that Robert Brakenreid was one of his best customers who came in with other lads from the Wickford Academy, Leo and Stitch. Pascal Sefert is a local boy who "...went to that toffee-nosed school for a time". He and Lacroix were pals. Stubbs has had to toss Lacroix when he got into a dust-up with young Brackenreid but the bartender did see the actual fight outside. "I serve them drinks. I don't walk them home and tuck them in at night."
- The interview is interrupted when Inspector Dreadnaught arrives with constables. He warns Stubbs it not his place to give out names. Then tells the Station House 4 team, "And you're poking your noses into places they don't belong. Keep it up and you'll end up in my cells. No matter who you are."
