St. John's Policeman (real name unknown) was the officer that Murdoch and Crabtree dealt with during their investigation in Newfoundland in Season 7 of Murdoch Mysteries.
Appearances and Mentions[]
Republic of Murdoch[]
- Before looking for any clues, Murdoch and Crabtree visit the police station to obtain permission to apprehend their suspects. While there, the man identifies both Jacob Doyle and the murder victim, Peter Farrelly. He also sheds light on the blood feud between the West Bay and East Bay Farrelly branches, giving some valuable information.
- After sending an officer to inform Eunice of her husband's demise, the officer tells them they can't arrest Ezekiel Farrelly without evidence, but could feel free to grab Jacob Doyle and arrest him, as he's a local ne'er do well.
- When the case is closed, the officer debriefs with Murdoch, and allows one final favour to keep the murderer in his cells while the pair say their goodbyes.
