Sarah Gadon is an award winning Canadian TV and film actress. She first appeared as Dr. Julia Ogden's younger sister Ruby Ogden in Houdini Whodunit in Season 2, returning in Future Imperfect (2010), The Kissing Bandit (2011) and in the Season 4 finale Murdoch in Wonderland (2011). Julia refers to Ruby and mentions her in following seasons, most notable in the Season 7 finale The Death of Dr. Ogden and in Season 8.
Biography[]
Sarah Gadon was born in a quiet residential area in Toronto, Ontario, to a teacher mother and a psychologist father. She grew up with the support and encouragement of her parents and older brother James and with this was inspired to reach her limits in acting and dance alike.
Sarah spent much of her adolescence training as a Junior Associate at the National Ballet School of Canada and as a student at the Claude Watson School for the Performing Arts. She studied cinema at the prestigious University of Toronto.
She was cast in three consecutive films directed by David Cronenberg: A Dangerous Method (2011), Cosmopolis (2012) and Maps to the Stars (2014).
She can be seen as Kari in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) and as Princess Elizabeth in A Royal Night Out (2015).
Currently, she is filming Indignation (2016) based on Philip Roth's 2008 novel.
