Appearances and Mentions
- No one recognizes the young man in the photograph; Very little is known about the deceased, nor can it be confirmed if he is the bomber or an innocent victim – until Murdoch asks the coroner for the victim’s belongings.
- Among the victim’s personal belongings, Miss Hart has discovered a lapel pin in the inside pocket of his jacket – an odd place to keep it, notes Murdoch, for a lapel pin indicates the wearer's affiliation with an organization or cause.
- Murdoch returns to the hospital to interview Clara Brett Martin again, which leads him to have George contact St. Stephens hospital in Central London: A chap by the name of Ramsey Taylor has been missing for some time and he had worked with Dr. Talbot for several years, "I wonder why he'd be trying to kill her." Murdoch doesn't know that Taylor was, "but he was up to something".
- Detective Murdoch arrives in Kingston to confront Dr. Talbot with what he has further learned in his investigation into the death of Ramsey Taylor and his involvement in the bombing.
