"Only Murdoch in the Building" is the second episode of the eighteenth season of Murdoch Mysteries and the two hundred eighty-nineth episode of the series (not including the three stand-alone holiday specials). It first aired on October 7, 2024 on CBC Gem and airs on October 14, 2024 on CBC.
Summary
Murdoch moves into a rooming house where a quirky fellow tenant insists that the detective help investigate an apparent murder in the building.
Meanwhile Crown Attorney Effie Crabtree's first case for the Crown is one of the biggest in Toronto's history: The trial of former city councilman Chadwick Vaughan.
