Summary[]
When thirteen-year-old Agnes Fisher faints at school, her teacher Amy Slade finds a set of shocking photographs in the girl's desk. After Agnes doesn't show up for school the next day, Ms. Slade turns to the help of the police force; specifically Acting Detective William Murdoch. Enraged at the explicit nature of the photographs, Murdoch ventures to find the culprit, determined to put him behind bars.
At the same time, it appears Murdoch's colleague Sergeant Seymour may be the victim of fraudulent accusations.
