Michael Hanrahan was hand-picked in Chicago to join the Stratford Festival where he spent four seasons. He is also a founding member of The Soulpepper Theatre Company and the most recent recipient of its Artistic Director’s Award. He has appeared in many memorable roles including his performances in The Zoo Story, The Dumb Waiter and American Buffalo. A gifted teacher and performance coach, Michael worked extensively with the contenders on the CBC hit TV show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? He has taught at De Paul University, McMaster University as well as providing private acting coaching in the Canadian and U.S. Markets through Big Voice Studios.
