The Key to Salvation is the tenth episode of Murdoch Mysteries: The Curse of the Lost Pharaohs.

Summary[]

Sanura begs for an explanation, but Sekhmet states it changes nothing. When she tearfully confesses she thought him dead, he replies that Pierre Lenoir is dead, and he's become something far greater.

Sekhmet tells her it is to avenge her mother against the British, and to entertain himself, showing just how unhinged he is. Sekhmet prepares to kill George, lunging at him suddenly...however, Sanura throws herself between them, suffering a fatal stab.

Sanura collapses in George's arms, and the detective screams at Sekhmet, shouting if there is no limit to his evil. The man is perturbed, but leaves his daughter behind, redonning his mask.

The woman pleads with George to stop him, as the cannon can be disarmed by a numeric sequence. However, instead of telling him, Sanura kisses him deeply.

Just as she's about to reveal the code, she dies in his arms. However, George discovers four numbers written on her hand. He doesn't know what they mean, but little does he know that help is coming.
