- She is an accomplished violinist but her abilities did not manifest themselves until after an accident where her head was struck. She is under the care and study of Dr. Francis Grout.
- Pringle saves Detective William Murdoch and Sarah Pensell when they are being attacked by Richard Binney; Binney had shot Murdoch with a crossbow bolt and would have killed him had Pringle not struck Binney unconscious from behind.
