David Huband was born in 1958 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He is an actor and writer, known for Cinderella Man (2005), Cube Zero (2004) and Wrong Turn (2003). He can also be seen in Saving Hope (2014) and Republic of Doyle
He first appeared in Murdoch Mysteries Season 1's first episode Power as Daniel Pratt, now deceased.
Currently he is Mayor Clarkson, a recurring character since Season 6.
