Biography
Julia Ogden's husband. Despite Julia and William's past, the two of them seem to get along quite nicely. He married Julia at the end of season 4. Until Julia decided to take back her job in Toronto, the two of them were originally going to move to Buffalo. He doesn't like it when Julia starts advocating her ideas of women's birth rights and it threatens his social status and promotion. This gets them into a bit of a fight in Stroll on the Wild Side part 2. Darcy seems to care about his job more than Julia at times, especially in season 5. In the finale, Darcy leaves her, saying that he will let her be with who she really wants to be with. In season 6, there is a plot arc about Darcy and Julia's divorce. Darcy appears several times in the later episodes and makes his final appearance in Crime and Punishment when he is shot through the head and killed by James Gillies.
He will be mentioned in season 7 as Julia has to sell his house. A relative of his will appear in season 7 as well.
