Chippy Blackburn was a bicycle trainer who is rumoured to have used some unorthodox methods on his bikers, introduced in Season 7 of Murdoch Mysteries, portrayed by Seán Cullen.

- Chippy is first seen at the bike race while Murdoch is preparing. After one of his riders die, Murdoch discovers a controversial method where Chippy would give his bikers blood injections to boost their speed. Dr. Emily Grace drew a theory about the blood transfusions, and how specific types of blood can actually kill a man with a different type, leading them to the real killer, another biker.
