Minerva Fairchild, a.k.a. Charlotte, is murder victim Richard Hartley's fiancée, first introduced in Season 1 of Murdoch Mysteries portrayed by Charlotte Sullivan.

- Minerva Fairchild is engaged to Richard Hartley, who is found dead in his rowing team uniform. She tells William Murdoch that Hartley had argued with Coach Hamilton Kane of the rowing team. Murdoch eventually finds that Miss Fairchild is romantically involved with Horace Briggs. Briggs was a member of the team until ousted to make room for Hartley. On the night Hartley was initiated into the team, Minerva told him she was breaking off their engagement. Hartley became violent and Minerva fled. Briggs drowns Hartley in a bathtub. Miss Fairchild saw Hartley's body but did not report the crime.

The Filmed Adventures of Detective William Murdoch[]
- When James Pendrick decides to film a movie at Station House 4, a young lady comes forward to stand beside Pendrick. Murdoch suddenly recognizes her and started to ask, "Are you Minerva Fairchild?" and she says she goes by Charlotte now. During filming for the movie, Pendrick's paramour and leading lady Charlotte Fairchild plays the role of Dr. Ogden, and acts romantically with George Crabtree which quite upsets Emily Grace.
