- Sullivan fights in a match against Amos Robinson in which Robinson is supposed to intentionally lose; This would make Sullivan the champion. In retaliation, Sullivan follows Robinson to the Prince Albert Hotel and hits him, breaking his nose.
- Sullivan wis questioned by Detective William Murdoch because Robinson is murdered later that night. However, Sullivan proves to be innocent.
