Annie Taylor is introduced in Season 7 of Murdoch Mysteries, portrayed by Jillian Cook.

History

Annie Taylor was an American adventurer and the first American to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel. She was 63 at the time.

Annie Taylor appears at Station House Four to report that the barrel that she had gone over Niagara Falls in has been stolen.
Annie is in a great state, and keeps asserting her manager stole it. She's appearing in Toronto to give a speech
However, once the barrel has been found, after it was discovered to be part of a fraternity house prank, it was returned to its owner.
